My DVR chopped off the last minute(s) of yesterday's episode ("Unfinished Business"), right in the middle of an important scene. Walt and the Denver detective were sitting at the table in the Red Pony. Henry had already served them and walked away. The detective was talking; the last thing I heard was him saying he'd stopped by Walt's daughter's place... and that's all I got. Can anybody tell me what I missed? Halp?

As for the show itself, it's not bad. I'm irked by Henry the wise, laconic Indian who doesn't use contractions (seriously, show? really? I don't care if it's written that way in the book canon; it's fucked up and you should fix it) -- which is to say, I'm irked by the way his dialog is written; I like Henry himself -- but other than that, I'm finding it reasonably smart, dramatically chewy, and watchable, and the cast (including Katee Sackhoff) is great. I'm pleased that it's going to get a second season.
