Ah, well. Everyone I spend time with has had it, so I pretty much figured it was going to happen. At least this way I'll be over it before I have to do a spot of traveling early in January. It'll be Epiphany on the road this year. How, uh, enlightening. (Forgive me, I'm feverish.)

It makes it hard to properly wallow in all the awesome holiday exchange fanworks, though I've only got two more left (within the bounds of what I read, anyway) at due South Seekrit Santa. And if you haven't checked it out yet, I'd like to point out that you are missing out on some serious awesomeness. And some hilarious awesomeness. And all the other kinds, too.

If my feedback on your dSSS work (or anything else for the next few days) lacks imagination, breadth, verve, and all that stuff, I apologize. My brain is full of polyfiber stuffing. I think that's what it is. Feels like that, anyway. Oy.

Is anyone collecting or featuring Yuletide recs for things where you don't need to know the canon? I think I've seen that somewhere in past years and it was fantastic, because wow, every year I know a tinier fraction of the source media.

*pets* That wasn't very nice of Santa to give you a cold for Christmas. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Feel better soon! I've made two recs posts (so far) and marked those that don't need canon knowledge.
