Another art request, SG-1 this time

I've got the Sid Project underway and it looks like I'll be doing at least four, possibly five podfics of her work, depending on my stamina.

I'd like to see her podfics given worthy, wonderful covers. Sadly, all I can manage myself is embarrassingly mediocre Paint images, and while I can live with that on other my other works, it just doesn't feel like enough in this case.

So I'm putting out an early call that I'm looking for one or more fanart creators who would like to make covers for any or all of these Stargate SG-1 podfics.

Please feel free to pass the word along if you know of anyone who isn't reading this but might like to contribute.

You are, as always, so awesome and so generous. <3

Would you be willing to be on call as backup? I'd like to allow SG-1 artists who knew and loved Sid to have the first shot; one reason I put up this post was so those who knew her could help spread the word, because I'm not sure who was close to her that might like to participate.

But if I run short of contributions from those people, can I call on you?

I would be a bit concerned about causing offense, responding in this way to your offer, except that I know you'll understand as well as anyone that it's about love and grief and honoring someone dear.

The stories I'm recording are listed here on LJ. I've offered Sal (troyswann) first choice since she's going to do hand drawn art. Once she's made her selection, you're welcome to choose whatever you like, whether one or more. Just let me know what you're going to do so I can coordinate.

I know! Sal art! I got kind of giddy over that.

You know, I had to bite my fingertips to keep from typing anything about how marvelous it would be if Sal chose 'Transits of the Moon.' And she has. Oh, my.

And Mags! More monumental yay.

I'll pick The Rex Series, and claim the optional ones for the individual stories, too. I like the thought of making a set.

Oh, it's so great you're doing this! I would have done art as well but I was away a couple of days and only saw this now. Lovely project for sure. I still can't believe she's gone, it's just still so unreal.
