In other news: My friend D and I have been spending inordinate amounts of time playing Words With Friends, the Facebook version of Scrabble, usually three or four active games at any one time. This has led to the development of new descriptive terminology.
Vowel Stew: This is when five of your seven letter tiles are vowels. Sometimes tasty, sometimes not so much.
Vowel Soup: Six of your seven letter tiles are vowels. Rarely a happy thing.
Vowel Swill: A) All seven of your letter tiles are vowels or B) six of your tiles are vowels and they're unfriendly ones (e.g., AIOOUUUJ)
